Deadline for admission requests (not applicable to EU institutions/agencies)
Due to a greatly increased number of requests for admission, we must impose the following restrictions.
Admission requests reaching us on Wednesday 26 June or earlier, will be processed before 12 July. If your admission request leads to an actual application for enrollment, we will organize possible necessary tests before Thursday 4 July. For most applications we can make a decision before Friday 12 July. An experience day is not possible.
Admission requests reaching us on Thursday 27 June or later, will not be processed until the last week of August. If your admission request leads to an actual application for enrollment, a decision on enrollment will not be taken before mid-September at the earliest. We advise you not to deregister from the current school until you have received a confirmation of a place at the ES Bergen.
Important additional information
In the admission form you have the option to add your child’s latest school report. This is not compulsory. However, because of the circumstances we will first process admission requests that include the latest school report and secondly those without.
Note: If the application for admission concerns a family in which one of the parents has Dutch nationality, we must follow additional rules set by the Netherlands and send the application to a special admission committee. At this late time of the school year, we cannot guarantee that they will make the final decision before the school starts in September, even if we process the application in line with the abovementioned restrictions. We therefore advise you not to deregister from the current school until you have received the final outcome from the ES Bergen.
